In perfect world add:
Paynes Grey   |   Mars Black   |   Burnt Sienna   |   Raw Umber

Stay away from strange pre-mixed colors
like purples, violets, light green and oranges.

6x8 sketchbook - required 

FOR ACRYLIC: colors all the same.

Mediums: 16oz container of GEL MEDIUM

Acrylic flow (by Golden),

8oz. retarder

Paper palette OR: Paper palette or STA Wet-premier palette

 

FOR OIL: I recommend to use an English brand called Gamblin or German brand called LUKAS.

They make wonderful chemical alternatives of all classical oil paint mediums: Linseed oil, stand oil and turpentine. Turpentine imitation by Gamblin called GAMSOL that does not smell! Is the only kind of solvent that is allowed to use in Art School 99. Linseed oil or replacement: GAMBLIN LIGHT

For acrylic:

 Any Gel mediums like Liquin by Liquetex are OK too.
