Grow as an artist. Use the group to test ideas, to practice speaking about your work. Alexandra will suggest source material, readings, specific works to visit in museums, and references to current art being made.

Class 1:

Everyone will present his or her work, so we can get an idea of what each person is working on, and what their individual goals/expectations are for their work and for the class.

 

Classes 2-7:

Every week a few class members will present their work to the class for a critique that will last from ¾-1 hour. Therefore each student will present their work twice during the 8 weeks.
